September 20-24 Winton Outback Festival
The festival is known for its unique and quirky Aussie events, plus a carnival atmosphere that welcomes city and country families alike to enjoy the 40-odd events.

October 8-9 Yeppoon Pinefest
The Tropical Pinefest Sunday is packed with traditional spectator events and stalls on the beachfront and includes a spectacular street parade and fireworks. The theme for this year's Pinefest is ‘Hollywood’.

October 24-30 Warwick Rodeo
Saddle up for yet more heart-in-the-mouth, bruising, bronco bucking, action.

January 26 Australia Day Cockroach races
As the story goes the Story Bridge Hotel Cockroach Races were started when two old punters sat in the bar arguing over which suburb had the biggest and fastest roaches. They decided to race some roaches the next day and history was made. This will be the 29th year that the races have been held at the Story Bridge Hotel.
