10 Sep 2011 - 24 Sep Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show
Come and share the Spring beauty of the Ravensthorpe Range, the magnificent Hopetoun Coast and the Fitzgerald River and Frank Hann National Parks. Enjoy fantastic flora and also a Devonshire tea. Over the last 26 years the Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show has developed into one of the best shows in Western Australia. Possibly the largest number in the world of different species of named wildflowers are displayed, collected from one of the world’s richest biodiversity areas.

30 Sep - 05 Oct Kojonup Wildflower Festival
Wonderful bushwalks in the many reserves including the Wandoo Woodland of the Australian Bush Heritage Reserve, Myrtle Benn Flora and Fauna Sanctuary, Farrar Reserve. All with a rich diversity of orchid species, including the red-tongued spider, mantis, clubbed spider, white spider and pink enamel. Bird lovers should keep their eyes peeled for some 80 species of native birds, including the rare crested shrike-tit, the peregrine falcon and Carnaby black cockatoo.

1 Oct 2011 - 16 Oct 2011 Bendigo Bank Art & Craft Trail
More than 60 venues will present exhibitions of fine art and craft in various display spaces such as galleries, studios, wineries, restaurants, community halls and retail outlets in a wide area of the Great Southern region

October 15th - Dardanup Bull and Barrel Festival
Come for the sights, sounds, tastes and fun, and stay for the evening! The Dardanup Bull & Barrel Festival is a celebration of the diversity and vibrance of the Region.
Enjoy the fun for all ages during the day, and during the night - the Festival's spectacular finale – revel in the lighting of the fire sculpture. Hear the crowd roar as the ‘bull’ burns!

Join Leeuwin Estate Winery in celebrating another successful vintage, as they festively burn the year's vine cuttings. This event, which is in its second decade in Margaret River, revives the historic European tradition of vigneron communities gathering to celebrate the completion of pruning with wine, music and entertainment

The Worlds Festival is a diverse mix of more than 250 free events and activities that include the best of West Australian and international artists and contributors. While the festival’s hub is in the Worlds Village with its main stage, giant screens, global food vendors, stalls, marquees and Kids’ Corner, the programme extends to locations and venues throughout Fremantle.
The  2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships is the biggest sailing event to be held in Perth since the 1987 America's Cup Defence.
