We are younger grey nomads seeking paid employment in the maintenance and repairs to caravan parks, fruit farms, cattle stations, sheep farms etc. I am a very hand’s on type of bloke and love to be kept busy. Employment can be paid casual or part time. I have a sound knowledge of repairs and maintenance to buildings, I can do small construction works, along with fence work, small concrete works and welding, Have done seeding with a stieger and aircoil and have operated a Volvo front end loader. I can lend a hand to just about anything. I have all my own tools but hold no tickets any more, Can work unsupervised or as a team and can be relied upon to complete the task given. Willing to learn new skills if required.
My Wife of 33 years has had 25 years in home based child care “Family day care” and has also been involved in the cleaning aspects of small businesses and is very house proud, also loves working in the garden.
Has worked in packing sheds and is also willing to learn new skills.
All we need is a place to park the caravan, power, water, and a toilet and shower and access to a washing machine. We are traveling with our elderly jack Russell dog who is quiet and loves you to throw his ball. Full resume is available along with references.

Work wanted in Tasmania from January onwards (posted 16/12/11) SHORT ORDER COOK/PASTRY CHEF/and ADMINISTRATOR/BOOK-KEEPER/TRY ANYTHING. We are on our way to Tasmania and looking for work. We began our travels around Australia just 3 months ago.  During this time, Chris has been employed as Short Order Cook at a busy roadhouse and Noela has received training and employment in the Hotel industry. We are booked to arrive in Devonport, Tasmania on 11th January and would like to line up work to commence immediately, if possible. As well as the above qualifications and experience, we have successfully completed a Caravan Park Management Course and would be very interested in relief work along those lines. Noela has also worked in the banking industry for 20 years. She has also taught MYOB and Administration/Office Skills in a classroom environment & has just completed 10 years employment as Personal Assistant/Office Manager/Book-keeper (Cert 4). Chris has owned/operated successful patisseries in the Sydney area before moving to the Gold Coast, where he has been employed for 8 years in an extremely busy patisserie. Semi-retirees seek work (posted 12/11/11)
John and Lorraine are self funded semi retirees, who seek casual work as they travel. In previous life, for 16 years John (age 61) was cellar manager in a large convention and exhibition centre.  He has extensive hospitality experience, including reticulation, RSA, and WPH&S.  He has also managed Guest Houses, Hotels and Caravan Parks. Lorraine (age 55) has strong administration and computer skills. Recently, together, they have worked at Birdsville Caravan Park during the race week, where "all hands were on deck - gate keeping, cleaning cabins & amenities, kitchen hand, parking campers etc", and have worked on a cattle station near Winton, where Lorraine cooked and cleaned house for the owner, and John maintained the gardens, and fed and watered the house animals.They seek work together where possible, have their own accommodation and travel with an 11 yo quiet, well behaved border collie. Cabinetmaker/Handyman & Wife (updated 3/10/11)
We are on the move again!  We are now travelling south in W.A. (at the moment we are at Dampier near Karratha) still looking for offers of work. We have now spent 21 months on Cattle Properties around Central and Western Queensland, and Western Australia.  Outfitting Worker's Quarters, painting, maintenance, installing kitchens, renovating Bathrooms (including tiling), enclosing verandahs, re-glazing windows and french doors, maintaining yards, doing bore runs, etc Paul is a qualified cabinetmaker; handyman; that has made Trailblaza Portable Off Road Fridge Freezers for 6 years; been a partner in a Concrete Pumping service and worked within the glazing industry. Jennifer is a qualified Outside School Hours Care Co-ordinator (10 years experience);  have done cleaning; been a Convenor at a local High School; been a Girl Friday for a local food distribution company; Manager of a Book Shop; been a Relief Teacher's Aide; sewed clothes from school uniforms to wedding dresses; worked for a Bank for 6 years; plus all the skills and accomplishments that have been acquired while raising three daughters. Work wanted for couple; will travel anywhere (updated 24/1/12)
Husband and wife team Maureen and Paul are looking to change the direction of our lives. We are in our late 50’s we are both fit, healthy and enthusiastic, we are willing to learn, we are just waiting for the chance to show what we can do. Paul is an experienced painting contractor with over 30 years experience in painting and decorating, not only the trade part but also running his own business.
Paul has also had experience in retail and is good at general handy man jobs. Maureen has been with the department of education for 25 years, mainly working with special needs children, although cooking / hospitality is the area preferred to work. Paul and Maureen both have their food handler certificates and Maureen has done a catering course. Paul and Maureen are both members of the local Lions Club and have been involved in catering for small and larger groups. Maureen was secretary for 2 years and has reasonable computer and administration skills. Hosts on The Run - Professional Hospitality Couple (posted 25/5/11)
Paul & Wendy Greenfield are Hosts On The Run, and with over 20 years experience in hospitality, we offer our multi skilled service to the tourist & hospitality industry, individually or collectively in many areas. As a team, we relief manage motels, tourist parks or resorts. Individually we present our skills where ever it is needed. Outside our management appointments, Paul has driven shuttle and tour buses in Cairns & Mackay north Queensland, and the winter season of 2010 was a resort guide providing coach tours with full commentary in the Gulf Savannah region. Couple looking for work (updated 16/1/12)
NOTE: Kerri and Bryan have now found a position and will be available from May  2012 onwards. 

Experienced couple available for paid work, caretaking or house sitting.  We have been 'on the road' for 8 years and looking forward to many more.   We enjoy the outdoors and are easy going.   Our current home is an off road caravan, towed by a 4WD.   We are experienced caravan park managers, having worked in a variety of parks from BIG4 & resort style parks to remote camp grounds .  Our preference is for rural or remote area, casual or short term work but are willing to discuss other positions.  Currently in SA heading for NT  but are happy to travel elsewhere.  We will be in WA in October 2011. Bryan is a qualified carpenter, general 'jack of all trades' & 'Mr fix it'.  He has a HC truck , boat & motor bike license.  He also has experience in driving a tractor.  Bryan has current senior first aid, police clearance and swimming pool accreditation and Certificate 3 in Caravan Parks Operations. Loves fishing, tip 'shopping,' music & talking to people. Kerri is qualified in the youth/welfare & community development areas and has experience in management.  I have a MR truck & motor bike license and I am computer literate, including Word, Excel,RMS ROS & data input .  Experienced in reception, back of office, tour ticket selling, cleaning, gardening and tutoring . Having grown up on a sheep farm I am use to outdoor work.   My senior first aid and police clearance are current.  I enjoy fishing, reading, gardening & walking. Work Wanted, father and son (posted 31/3/11)
We are a father and son building team who have had enough of the city and enjoy traveling and working in the outback. In April last year we purpose built an offroad dual axle tool trailer, loaded up the Landcruiser and set of for Winton in Central Qld to work on a sheep and cattle station renovating the shearers quarters. Through word of mouth we are now working on our 3rd station in the area. We are mainly interested in working out on stations doing renovations etc. The family is originally off the land and extremely enjoy getting back out to the bush where the people are so friendly in comparison to the city. Couple Available from October 2011 (updated 24/9/10)
My husband and I are middle aged. We have a life style place of our own so consequently we are not able to travel until the winter months due to the fear of fires and the need to take care of our own garden. Jon is a handy person who can drive a tractor, operate a chain saw, maintain small motors, ride a motor bike, repair fences etc. I am a registered nurse. I can cook, garden and we have both done fruit picking. For the past two years we have picked plums in the UK. I believe we are good all rounders for most jobs, and if we haven't done the job before we can certainly learn new skills.
