My husband and I are trying to work our way around this beautiful country of Australia.
My husband is a qualified cabinetmaker Q.B.S.A. Gold Card No. 057657; handyman; that has been making Trailblaza Portable Off Road Fridge Freezers for the past 6 years (any questions will be answered upon request); he has been a partner in a Concrete Pumping Service; been a Builder's Labourer and worked within the glazing industry.
I am a qualified Outside School Hours Co-ordinator (10 years experience); have done cleaning; been a Convenor at a local High School; been a Girl Friday for a local food distribution company; Managered of a Book Shop; been a Relief Teacher's Aide; sewed clothes from school uniforms to wedding dresses; worked in a Bank for 6 years; plus all the skills and accomplishments that have been acquired while raising three daughters.
We have run our own successful business, have worked for others and done voluntary work. WE ARE WILLING TO TRY ANYTHING - IF GIVEN THE CHANCE! We are currently at Townsville (heading North) - but willing to travel anywhere (within reason.)

My wife and I are in our fifties and are just starting our first 2-3 month trip away
starting in August 08. Between the two of us we have over 50 years retail experience in the clothing
industry owning and managing, my wife is still currently working in a pharmacy two and a
half days a week (she has had experience in takeaway food, grape picking and pruning and
factory assembly work) and I have retired. We are looking at working 2-3 days a week and

We are taking a working holiday for 12-18 months around Australia. We are looking for any type of work for either one or both of us. Station hand work would be great. Peter is 34 yrs old, a qualified panel beater with 19 years experience, currently managing a workshop, Tow Truck Driver (10yrs), holds MR Truck licence, fork lift licence, current first aid certificate, is experienced with mig, stick and oxy welding, confident with hand and power tools He has also spent 15 years as part of the Volunteer Rescue Association where he was involved with all manner of motor vehicle accidents, water, sea and industrial rescue, abseil accidents, plus all types of animal rescues.
I am also healthy, 33 years old and currently running my own Family Day Care business and have been for 3 years now. This involves me looking after 5 children under 5 years of age from my home. My first aid certificate is also current and I do also have several Child Care certificates. During this year, I am currently studying my Certificate 3 in Children's Services through Ourimbah University. I have also been a volunteer for Wildlife ARC (Animal Rescue and Care) for the last 5 years. I have been involved with hand raising many different animals over those years. My children are Chloe - 9 years old and Jacob who is 6 years old. Our caravan is fully self sufficient with shower, toilet and fully battery powered. My husband and I are retired, having owned vineyards on the Murray River. We have moved to the Sunshine Coast and while we are deciding where to settle we are house sitting. We would like to house sit from Gympie & south to Caboolture.
