Hidden Valley Tourist Park
Located a short distance from Kununurra town centre, Mirimar National Park forms nature's backdrop to over 15 acres of parklands with abundant wildlife and beautiful bushwalks available. Kununurra is one of the youngest towns in WA and was developed through the construction of the Ord irrigation scheme in 1961. The town centre is a modern well equipped town.
Owners Fiona and Richard Hewitt took over the park in November 2006, upgrading the park and maintaining large bush setting sites. There are drive through sites and concrete slabs for annexes available. The eight self contained cabins have all been refurbished as have the two ablution blocks. There is a resort style pool to sit and relax around and plan one of the many tours around the Kimberley's which can be organized through the staff at the park, with on site pick up arranged. The park has BBQ areas, campers kitchen, car wash and van storage facilities.
Site costs are $26.00 (2 people) for a powered site and $11.00 (per person) for an unpowered site.
