Grindelwald , Launceston, Tasmania skilled wallpaper hanger and painter needed. We are slowly renovating a large property which is an operational B&B. We have 3 houses, two of which are large. Painting and decorating needs to work around guests bookings which is difficult for local tradesmen. There are many small jobs which could be completed in a couple of hours in various rooms. We can offer a concrete pad with total privacy and panoramic Tamar River Views, electricity. Use of a very nice bathroom and full laundry. Right beside an indoor pool solarium. Negotiate an hourly rate based on skill and jobs completed. The wallpapering is a 25 metre hallway with some areas 3 metres high, using wide unpasted paper. Remove existing wallpaper and then hang new paper. Other jobs, plaster repair where sockets and applicances have been removed, prepared for painting.
So a retired plasterer might be prepared to do a weeks, small repair jobs while visiting the area. Curtain Making, and repair and maintainence of curtain tracks, large professionally made expensive
curtains to be moved from one house to another and new curtains made from very expensive designer fabrics  - 10 large rooms of curtains. Upolstry - a number of different chairs, and sofas to be recovered with fabric we have already purchased. We already have greynomads who relieve when we go on holidays. We are looking for a Grey Nomad couple or single looking for a stop off on a 50 acre horse property just 10 minutes from Hobart, located at the foot of Mt Wellington. We are looking for some people to keep an eye on things while we are away, help with the horses a bit and help with some general work around the farm, like repairs and maintenance in return for rent and power and a great place to spend some time.
