It’s been a marathon event but it’s come down to a sprint finish. One of the 10 photos below will be named the winner of the grey nomads ‘Life on the Road’ photographic competition.
Our esteemed judge, Travel Today editor Steve Jones, is now resting after completing his marathon task of narrowing down the huge field to just a handful. It is now up to you – the voting grey nomad – to finish the job and select a top three. With some unbelievable prizes up for grabs, the stakes have never been higher so please consider all entries closely before voting for your favourite.
A reminder that one lucky winner will be carrying off the first prize of $1,000 worth of tyres from Cooper Tires. The runner-up will be receiving a 16”x24” canvas print of a chosen photo, courtesy of Brilliant Prints. The third placegetter will be carrying off a copy of the latest edition of the Grey Nomad’s Guidebook.
But, as we’ve said in the past, more importantly than any prize is the glory that comes with being feted as the grey nomad champion of champions, the best photographer of a very talented bunch. But who will it be?

The winner will quite simply be the photo that has received the most votes, second place will go to the photo with the second most votes and third prize will go to the photo with the third most votes.
