WELCOME TO THEGREYNOMADS.COM.AU!

If you are one of the growing army of grey nomads discovering, or hoping to discover, the joys of the open road in this wonderful country, then this site is for you. Whether you are travelling indefinitely, choosing to spend the winter months up north, or simply enjoying a few short trips a year, you are part of the growing grey nomad community. This site is the place to read about people like yourselves and about the issues affecting your lifestyle.

We're aiming to make thegreynomads.com.au a dynamic and interactive place to visit. We have added a heading top right where you can find the latest stories which will be changed regularly. Older stories are archived by topic and can be accessed via the navigation box on the left. We invite you to ask advice from your fellow travellers on our forum. Have a look at the listings under our 'help wanted' 'housesitting', 'positions wanted' and 'volunteering' links to add an extra dimension to your trip. Check out the 'Readers Recommend' page under 'Destinations' to discover other's top spots and please email us with any comments, tips, suggestions or 'Readers Write' additions to our stories.

We offer free advertising in our 'help wanted', 'housesitting', 'positions wanted' and 'volunteering' links (on the left) to help grey nomads and people in need of grey nomads to find each other.

We are a husband-and-wife team that has recently completed a two-year trip around Australia. We offer commonsense advice and information designed to make your experience on the road more enjoyable. Please make 'your' site at www.thegreynomads.com.au a regular destination. Happy trails.
