Snake shocker ... one becomes two! PIC: Facebook/Parry Creek Farm Tourist Resort

Grey nomads are used to keeping a wary eye out for snakes on bushwalks or when camping in the wilds … but sometimes they can cause quite a stir in a caravan park as well.

That was certainly the case at the Parry Creek Farm Tourist Resort in the West Kimberley town of Wyndham this week, when a greedy snake was snapped regurgitating a very slithery meal.

Park manager Kurt Jongedyk first spotted the over-sized giant python and wasted no time in grabbing a bag and attempting to relocate it away from guests.

And then he watched in amazement as one became two.

“We saw he’d had a good feed of something (yes we counted the chooks it wasn’t one of them) and safely bagged him,” Jongedyk said in a Facebook post to the caravan park page. “Once he was out of the bag he started to regurgitate … that’s when we saw the tail.”

Incredibly, the reptile then spent the next few minutes coughing up another very sizeable snake!

“It all happened very quickly and he was off again safe and sound,” the post read. “Sadly he lost his lunch … but we hope he grabs something else and the birds get his left overs.”
