House/pet sit required for immaculate and easy to maintain small brick home in Cooloola Cove from 11 December – 24 December 2024 and 3 January to 12 January 2024 (if you can do one of those blocks that’s fine – just specify when you get in touch).
Cooloola Cove is 10 minutes drive to Tin Can Bay and 20 minutes from Rainbow Beach. It is a small peaceful village with a rural feel. It has a Woolworths, doctors surgery, dentist, pharmacy, bakery, mechanic, hardware shop. The house has everything you need including fans and air conditioning, washing machine, dryer etc. Please note it does not have a working dishwasher. All linen is supplied.
There are two female dogs that need to be cared for: a 4 year old golden retriever X and a 2 year old Samoyed. They are easy to manage, well trained and very affectionate. One dog requires daily medication (one tablet orally at night). Dogs sleep inside at night in the lounge room during the summer months due to the heat/humidity. The dogs are used to having people around so whilst I don’t expect someone to stay with them 24/7 what I don’t want is someone who uses the house as a base and heads out all day every day and just leaves the dogs to their own devices.
There is also a 4-month old cat. He is an indoor cat only so cannot be let outside. He will require his litter box cleaned daily. He is super affectionate.
As there are three animals living here and the house is small I do not allow house sitters with their own animals (sorry!).
Indoor and outdoor plants will require care but it’s minimal (alternate day watering for external plants; weekly for internal).
Off street parking for caravan as well as a car is available.
