Nungarin Heritage Machinery and Army Museum is amazing! Their extensive collection is housed in a 1942 Army Ordnance building with a striking saw tooth roof.

Our small number of volunteers could do with some reinforcements – we’re keen to offer a spot to park your van overlooking salmon gum bushland (with power and water) in exchange for 20 hours of help a week. This might include helping with Sunday breakfasts, cleaning, skills and muscles for restoration projects, or simply ‘being around’ to show visitors through. You don’t need any special skills to volunteer.

You can check out our webpage – nungarinmuseum.com.au. The surrounding farmland and bush areas are interesting and famous for their rocky outcrops.

We are taking bookings for blocks of two weeks (minimum) and invite your enquiries.
