Published: October 26, 2020

A 4WD towing a caravan has jackknifed on a Bruce Highway on-ramp at Pomona, blocking traffic.

A police spokeswoman said no one was injured in today’s crash which happened just before 11.30am.

However, lanes were blocked and drivers were urged to proceed with caution as traffic built in the area.

Emergency services and Clayton’s Towing staff attended the scene. Police say the crash scene has now been cleared.

I’d love to know what the Cause was

AS would I. I would like to understand the causes so I can endeavour to either avoid repeating them or rectify if the underlying fault on my van/tow vehicle.

What was the cause?

Ask Claytons?

Claytons Towing may have answers as they appear to be the main rescuer’s of Sunshine Coast van accidents.

But why has the Bruce so many. Can’t be due to driver mistake ??

Witness said speed wobbles not the road most are driving to fast I travel that part of the road everyday and can be doing 110 on gas and get passed by caravans

Lot of cross winds, speed, drivers cutting in too soon a S.E.Qld problem.
