Two people are still in hospital after they were badly burnt when a gas bottle exploded at Rocky Point campsite north of Cairns earlier this week.
A 45-year-old woman was flown to Cairns Hospital with burns to her face and neck, while a 16-year-old girl also travelled to Cairns via ambulance with facial burns.
They are both in a stable condition.
The Cairns Post reports that paramedics, including the emergency helicopter, were called to the campground on the Esplanade on Monday, amid reports that several people had suffered injuries.
A man with chest and leg burns, aged 40, was taken to Mossman Hospital but was discharged yesterday.
