A French astronaut has captured some incredible images of Uluru glowing in the sunset … but he’s done so from the International Space Station.
Thomas Pesquet shared the image on his Facebook page, and said taking a photo of the iconic Northern Territory landmark had long been on his wish list.
“This is a sacred site, and a striking landscape,” he wrote. “Not easy to spot from the International Space Station, but as the sun went down, we got lucky!”
