Fire has once again engulfed a caravan, this time on Queensland’s Fraser Coast.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics after a van went up in smoke in Bauple yesterday.
The Queensland Fire and Emergency Service said it was not clear how the fire was started.
“By the time we got there the fire was almost put out, and was quickly put under control,” a spokesperson said. “The caravan was pretty much destroyed.”
Last week, a grey nomad couple put a brave face on it after their caravan was destroyed by fire. They had just parked outside the Katherine Visitor Information Centre for a few minutes when disaster struck.
