A man is in serious condition following a crash between a car towing a caravan and a ute on the Copper Coast Highway on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula.

The 30-year-old man was trapped for more than an hour before he was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with injuries to his face, lungs and hip. The Adelaide Advertiser reports that another man, 59, and woman, 60, suffered minor injuries. They were both taken to Wallaroo Hospital as a precaution.

The accident happened yesterday morning near Thrington, which is halfway between Kadina and Paskeville.
