Caravan obliterated in horror rollover on WA highway

A caravan has been completely destroyed and the driver of the towing vehicle injured in an horrific rollover in WA’s South West.

The crash happened on the South Western Highway near the town of Harvey, approximately 140 kilometres south of Perth, between Pinjarra and Bunbury.

A police spokesperson said the male driver had been flown to Perth’s Fiona Stanley Hospital with facial burns, His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

A female passenger was taken to nearby Harvey Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

No further details of the accident are available at this stage.

The RAC rescue helicopter, ambulance and police were all called to the scene of the accident. Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service, and Bush Fire Service firefighters and DFES State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers were also on site.
