A lucky New South Wales couple have just won the lottery … and soon they’ll be living the dream.
The pair, from the country town of Wentworth, scooped a whopping $200,000 in the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw, and immediately declared their intention to join the ranks of the grey nomads.
“Every morning, my husband and I sit outside and talk about what we’d like to do if we won the lotto,” the anonymous winner said. “We’ve always said we would buy a caravan and travel around Australia … now we can!”
The winning entry of one random number was purchased online.

The woman said she had played every week for the past 20 years, and had always put a bit to the side so she could get her $2 and $5 ticket.
When an official from The Lott first reached out to the victorious woman, she was completely unaware of her newfound fortune and screamed so loud she woke up her husband.
“Oh my gosh! I’ve won! I’ve won! Hallelujah! I’ve won $200,000 on a $5 ticket!” she said. “My heart is beating so fast I’m shaking … my screams just woke my husband up, he and the dog are looking at me like I’m crazy, this is incredible.”
Incredibly, the win occurred just three weeks after 10 Powerball players from Wentworth became overnight multi-millionaires.
“This means so much,” said the most recent Wentworth winner. “I’ve been praying for this, and I was just watching a movie about angels!”
