Buchanan Downs is seeking a single or couple to be homestead managers for 1 month or 3. Duties include housekeeping and general homestead tidying up and cleaning, painting, keeping lawns free of branches and bones. Occasional meal cooking 2 nights a week. It is helpful if you have raised children who have survived your cooking.
5 day week, $300 per day, ABN preferred. Meals, powered site, share washing machine. Weather is good after Easter until September.
Nearest hospital is 4 to 5 hours away and aeromed evacs don’t happen like on TV shows. It is drive yourself even if you have had a heart attack or stroke or sepsis or peritonitis.
We have a no nonsense procedures manual and you have to follow it or hit the road again.
Alcohol 3 standard drinks. Can’t work here if on CBD oil, lyrica, tramadol, palexia etc. WHS says so. Too many loaders, graders, tip trucks, crane trucks, road trains and light trucks.
I have working kelpies who are friendly as are horses and cattle. Meaning they will steal anything edible.
