Held on tow separate weekends – October 11-12, and October 18-19 – this unique event is a celebration of the role that fire played on the Victorian goldfields as people from around the world came to Ballarat in the 1850s, bringing their food and traditions with them. Organisers say visitors can immerse themselves in interactive experiences with fire-lit landscapes, food cooked over open flames, artistic light displays, handcrafted cocktails, live music and evocative street performances.
