FREE FESTIVAL ENTRY + FREE CARAVAN SITE IN EXCHANGE FOR VOLUNTEER HELP
We run a very special annual event on our riverside property called Longview Farm Party. The party has been running since 1999 and has a wonderful old-school, yesteryear feel. It’s a small boutique event with only a few hundred people, held on our beautiful property on the Nowendoc River.
Think camping by the river, live music in our purpose-built barn, campfires, good food, dancing, fireworks and a great crowd.
This year’s line-up includes GANGgajang, Continental Robert Blues Party, Steve Edmonds, Mal Eastick and plenty more, along with morning yoga, belly dancing, food stalls, fireworks and lots happening across the four-day event.
We’re looking for 2 Grey Nomads to join our volunteer crew
We already have some fantastic Grey Nomads who return each year to help us with the party, and this year we’d love to add another couple or two individual travellers to the crew.
If you are travelling together as a group, we could potentially accommodate up to 4 people.
In exchange for your help, you’ll receive:
– Free entry to the entire Longview Farm Party
– A free caravan/camping site on the property
– Access to onsite facilities
– Plenty of opportunity to enjoy the music, entertainment and atmosphere when you’re not rostered on
Dates:
We are looking for volunteers who can arrive any time from Tuesday 29 September 2026 and stay through until Wednesday 7 October 2026.
You do not necessarily need to stay for the entire period, but we are looking for people who can commit to a minimum of around 4 days, including some time either before or after the event to assist with setup or pack-down.
The party itself runs over the October Long Weekend, 2–5 October 2026.
What would you be helping with?
The role is practical and varied and may include things such as:
– Event setup and pack-down
– Light mowing and grounds preparation
– General cleaning and tidying
– Guest services and helping campers find their way around
– Keeping shared areas presentable during the event
– Assisting with general jobs as they come up
Nothing particularly complicated, but we are looking for people who are reliable, practical, reasonably active and genuinely happy to pitch in and be part of the team.
If four people are travelling together, that’s absolutely fine too — having a few extra hands simply means the workload can be shared around.
Longview Farm is a beautiful riverside property in the Manning Valley Hinterland of NSW, with plenty of room for caravans and campers and onsite amenities including hot showers, flushing toilets and fresh drinking water.
If you’re already travelling through NSW this spring and fancy building a boutique music festival into your trip, this could be a pretty memorable stop.

We’d particularly love to hear from people who are friendly, capable, easy-going and enjoy being involved rather than just watching from the sidelines.
