Full time Carer Position
We are looking for a semi retired caring older person/ who loves the isolation of residing on a cattle property in Western Qld. near Augathella and wishes to supplement their pension. Caring experience an advantage The 80yr old gentleman has lost his licence due to short term memory loss. He gets confused at times & sleeps a lot. His other faculties are generally fine. He wishes to remain on the family property & be independent as much as possible.
Daily duties include making various meals & sharing these together, chatting , keeping a general eye on his well being eg ensuring he showers, goes for walks, takes medication, play cards/ board games & limiting his drinking are the main requirements including trips to town for social activities. Golf is a preferred activity.
Regular cleaning of kitchen, bathroom, living area & his bedroom.
Applicant lives in the main house with separate bedroom & bathroom.
Free wifi & Foxtel available.
The Gentleman has two cats, worries about their safety hence a dog must coexist or be contained. Limited time off can be arranged.
