We are looking for a full-time casual farm hand to work our beautiful 95ac Macadamia Farm in the Northern Rivers, NSW. We are blessed with rolling hills of rich volcanic soils, warm summers, cool winters and lush green vegetation, just 15 mins from Ballina and 35 mins from Byron Bay. We offer accommodation in a modern 2 bedroom air-conditioned, fully furnished timber cottage with a large carport, amongst the trees.
We are seeking someone who enjoys working outdoors and has experience operating machinery to carry out a variety of duties including mowing, tree trimming and stumping, chipping, mulching, spraying, harvesting, de-husking, plus pest, weed and native bee management. No week is ever the same! Couples are very welcome with potential for additional casual hours available during harvest.
Attractive wage package for an average 35hr week with flexible terms to minimise weather impacts. Ability to work the first 8-9 months of the year and then travel over the Spring/Summer months up until Christmas if you choose.
Ideally, we would like a long-term commitment starting from January 27. References required.
