We are looking for a self contained couple to caretake our property inland from Bundaberg. Power, water, laundry and bathroom facilities are offered in exchange for being a presence, while maintaining the house yard, which includes mowing and watering when needed; also monitoring a bore water supply. Time frame is flexible, but ideally from mid October until the end of December. The location is scenic and peaceful with bitumen road access. It is situated 12 minutes from the small town of Mt Perry and 115 kms inland from Bundaberg. This position could suit retirees who wish to park up for awhile or someone who works remotely. It’s ideal for those who enjoy the peace and quiet of the bush. There is no on property work required. Paid work could be considered for those with handyman or trade skills. A well behaved, stock proof dog would be ok. Referee contacts will be required.
