We are looking for ‘block sitters’ from 30th Dec to 17th Jan in Bremer Bay.
Ideally we would love someone who has a caravan / camper van – you are welcome to access to our facilities – toilet / shower / laundry available
We have a 6 acre block of cleared bush out on the peninsula – 9 km out of town ship.
We have a variety of animals we feed – we have 4 pet guinea pigs, we have chickens. We feed our local kangaroos and birdlife. We have a small aquaponics set up with goldfish.
We also have a large veggie garden and some roses. The veggie garden is mainly wicking beds and easy care but will just need tending / eating and some general love and care.
I am sorry but we can’t have any sitters with dogs (the guinea pigs and baby kangaroos don’t mix well with dogs, even well behaved ones )
We are super close to all the beaches and lots of 4×4 exploring to do.
Our set up is fairly ‘rural’ – we use bore water/ sprinklers for our garden and around the block and have only a rainwater set up for house and facilities – so someone with a bit of practical know how would be handy. The block is very tidy and neat and a lovely quiet retreat for anyone who enjoys the quiet life and being around animals, nature and the ocean.
