A body believed to be that of a missing grey nomad has been found a few kilometres from where her caravan was parked in Western Australia.
The 70-year-old woman was reported missing yesterday afternoon after her 72-year-old husband was found wandering in a distressed state in bushland near their caravan site near Manjimup in the state’s south west.
Police said the woman had ‘medical issues’.
“Inquiries will continue into the circumstances surrounding her death,” a police spokeswoman said.
The grey nomad couple had travelled to the west from interstate, but police are not yet releasing further details about the woman’s identity.
Her next of kin have been advised
Police say the woman’s body was found about five kilometres from their caravan.
