Two vehicles towing caravans have crashed head-on on the Capricorn Highway in Queensland.
It is understood that all of the people involved were able to get out of their vehicles, but there are no details of whether injuries were sustained.
One of the caravans was on its side blocking the road after the accident about 65 kilometres east of Alpha. The van has now been righted and the highway has been re-opened.
The Queensland Fire and Emergency Services personnel, as well as those from the Queensland Ambulance Service and the Queensland Police Service, attended the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the collision or its possible cause are not yet known..

We went pass the accident about 45minutes after it happen all police and rescue were there it looked very bad glad to see no one was killed
