We have a position available for a couple who would like to experience station life on our family run property Caradoc which is North of the township of White Cliffs NW NSW. Caradoc is 130,000 acres on which we run sheep and cattle and we are looking for an energetic couple to do some caretaking while we are away for short periods up until Christmas. The main tasks would be feeding and watering the domestic animals and watering the garden when we are away and a water run around the property. The position would also have some paid work as well which would include some domestic duties and also some station work which would both be paid. The station work would be helping with mustering and putting shearing through as well as potential heavy machinery operation for experienced operators and general station jobs. On the domestic side it would be a few hours a day for garden, washing and helping out around the house. Work hours would be fairly flexible.
Applicants would be required to have their own van/camper and we will supply water and power. There are new amenity blocks and also modern quarters which can also be utilised but may have other employees using them from time to time.
