Gardner/ handyman/Maintenance Person Wanted
The Wenaru Hotel in Georgetown Far North Queensland is under new ownership, and we’re looking for a reliable, practical person to assist with gardening, grounds maintenance, general repairs, and property upkeep.
Duties may include:
General maintenance and lawn care
General maintenance and repairs
Basic carpentry and handyman tasks
Keeping the grounds neat, tidy, and welcoming
assisting with odd jobs around the hotel as required
Happy to be flexible with hours and timeframes for the right person. Whether you’re travelling through and looking for a short-term opportunity or seeking a longer stay, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll be working with a friendly, supportive team in the heart of the Gulf Savannah region. Georgetown is the perfect base to explore the area, with lots to see and do. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work. Is self -motivated and reliable. Has practical maintenance or handyman skills. Enjoys working outdoors. Doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in.
This position would suit a Grey Nomad or traveller with their own caravan, motorhome, or accommodation arrangements who would enjoy spending some time exploring the beautiful Gulf Savannah region.
