MANDALA COMPLETION – HELP NEEDED | May–October 2026 | Magnetic Island, North Queensland.
In the middle of regenerating 9 acres of beautiful bush on Magnetic Island, my husband Tony passed away last year. What we were building, and what still matters deeply to me, is a wholesome, restorative, sacred space. Our home and a sanctuary to be shared with others.
I don’t know exactly how to complete our dream, on many levels. Trying all avenues, I am trusting that somehow it will happen. What I do know, for sure, is that I cannot do this on my own. So, I’m doing something that doesn’t come easily to me, and I’m reaching out for help.
One of our local islanders, a retired engineer, travels regularly and shares his skills through Grey Nomads. He suggested there might be some grey nomads out there, willing to contribute their time, skills & experience, in exchange for a beautiful place to stay.
I am planning our very own ‘Backyard Blitz’ between May & October this year, 2026.
Whether you have practical or trade skills, creative energy, gardening know-how, or simply good humour and a willingness to lend a hand, you’d be so welcome. There’s plenty of space for caravans & motorhomes.
