I’ve single-handedly built up Pucker Farm Animal Sanctuary about 50kms from Wave Rock in the Wheatbelt. I have a good friend that helps me out and have had WOOFers from time to time – some great but I have to cook and prepare the farmhouse so it is more of an altruistic endeavour than one that helps the animals. If anyone is virtually self-sufficient, loves animals and is not frightened of them, has plenty of common sense and can brings skills and follow instructions, you will get a wonderful experience. I don’t have a lot of funds but could pay for work if it’s worth it and I grow veggies so they are available. I just have so much to do and any willing helpers would be great.
