Term: Seasonal (Seeding focus, March/April start)
Accommodation: Must have own self-contained caravan
The Opportunity: We are a progressive, family-owned mixed cropping and sheep enterprise seeking a reliable individual or couple to join our team for the upcoming seeding season. We pride ourselves on a high-standard operation and a welcoming work environment. You’ll be working alongside the family in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
Main Tasks:
Seeding Operations: Operating or supporting broadacre cropping machinery.
Livestock: Assisting with our feedlot and replacement ewes (handling & husbandry)
General Maintenance: Fencing, water maintenance, and general farm support.
What We Offer
Competitive Pay: We value experience and reliability, offering a rate above the standard pastoral award.
The Site: A dedicated area for your caravan with access to water and power.
Pet Friendly: We are big dog lovers! We have four of our own (Diesel, Pippa, Dusty and Sass), so well-behaved travel companions are more than welcome.
The Lifestyle: Located just a short drive from the iconic Perlubie Beach and Streaky bay – perfect for fishing and exploring on your days off.
Longevity: While we are initially looking for seeding help, there is potential for the role to extend further for the right candidate.
What You Bring: A can-d0 attitude and a mechanical aptitude.
Previous experience with tractors or livestock is a major plus, but a willing heart and reliability are most important.
You must have your own self-contained caravan.
