Located 18 kilometres north of Penola in the heart of South Australia’s wine country, the spacious Coonawarra Bush Holiday Park offers both powered sites (from $40 per night for two people) and unpowered sites (from $30 per night for two people), as well as a range of glamping and cabin accommodation options. The park owns 200 acres of virgin bush that has never been cleared, although there are bushwalking trails for visitors to enjoy. For wine lovers, the park hires out 250w electric tricycles which it says have enough power and charge to get to every cellar door and back again! It also hires telescopes to allow guests to fully enjoy the stunning clear night skies in this magnificent part of the world.
