Farm History

The farm was established in 1999 with a small patch of lavender which we cultivate for dried flower and use in a wide range of our products. Our planting is small and the crop harvested by hand in January each year. We were certified organic but although no longer certified we are still using organic methods to produce our flowers and caring for our garden.

Initially the farm was set up with the idea of providing an attraction for tourism but prior to Covid we found this unsustainable because of a lack of tourists.  We found other ways to sell our products online, at markets and in our shop in the town of Nannup, A Taste of Nannup and Beyond where we now own. We decided to offer camping as we often get requests for accommodation and we had already quite a bit of infrastructure that wasn’t being fully utilised.

In 2018 we purchased a tour bus and can now offer tours of local farms and attractions to assist visitors to make the most of their visit to the Blackwood Valley. This business is called Time Travel Tours and Transport.
