About Us
Nature Foundation’s vision is to inspire people to connect with and conserve the natural habitats of South Australia for future generations, and our mission is to engage people, resources, and good science to conserve the precious habitat of SA. Our valued volunteers play a big part in helping us achieve these goals.
About the role
Our Tourism volunteers focus on building a positive experience for our guests and visitors. They are advocates and ambassadors for the Nature Foundation and love the opportunity to be in nature and share positive stories. Reserve Hosts stay onsite on reserves for 1 – 2 weeks to support visitors and guests and act as a friendly, informative, and helpful face of Nature Foundation SA on our Reserves.
Our Reserve Hosts help to enhance, support and value-add to the experience of our visitors and guests when they visit our incredible conservation reserves. They are our Visitor Experience and Engagement champions. Reserve Hosts also prepare and maintain the Reserve precinct and visitor facilities, ensuring the facilities are clean, in working order and ready for the visitor’s stay.
