A caravan has been involved in a collision with two cars on the Pacific Motorway near Brunswick Heads in New South Wales this morning.
At last one person has been treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to Byron Central Hospital. It is not known at this stage if there have been any other injuries.
Major delays were reported for the southbound lanes, with reports of kilometre-long tailbacks at around noon. The vehicles involved in the collision have since been removed.
The full cause of the accident is now under investigation.
The stretch of road where the accident occurred is on the Pacific Motorway, just north of where the road becomes the Pacific Highway.
