A very Happy Easter to all grey nomads and their families.

We hope you have all found a fantastic place to spend the holiday season, and are settled in to enjoy a fabulous long weekend.

As in all major holiday times, the camping experience that grey nomads are accustomed to for the vast majority of the year is about to be transformed. Quiet free camping areas become anything but, caravan parks become filled with kids on bikes and scooters, and the ‘no noise after 10pm’ tradition gets a severe testing.

However, this is above all a joyous time, and it is great to see so many people enjoying the camping lifestyle that grey nomads love so much.

Thankfully, this Easter will also be very different to the one we experienced last year when caravan parks and camping areas were largely shut as the pandemic wreaked havoc on the Australian way of life.

It is a reminder of how lucky we all are to be where we are and doing what we are doing… and a reminder also to appreciate it all and to make the most of every moment.

Enjoy … and, if you are travelling over the Easter period, please take extra special care on the roads.
