Celebrating its 30th year, this fabulous event brings people from far and wide to step back in time to experience everything medieval. There will re-enactments of medieval battles, live music and dancers, a daily grand parade, a ‘burning of the dragon’ event with fire performers and drummers. And, of course, there will also be market stalls selling handcrafted goods and clothing; a wide food offering; and tastings and sales of locally produced wines, ciders and mead. With many visitors dressing up for the event, there’s even the chance to hire your own jester, knight, or Lord or Lady costume.
