How did these nomads walk away unscathed?

Police have released new photos of the terrifying Northern Territory caravan rollover which left a grey nomad couple battered and bruised … but otherwise uninjured.
The 70-year-old driver and his 71-year-old passenger walked away largely unscathed from the crash near Timber Creek.
Police say the eastward-bound Mitsubishi Pajero and caravan rolled once after losing control 63 kilometres east of the town.
Pictures taken at the scene show the heavy skid marks as the vehicles spun out of control and off the road.
In the wake of the drama, police have re-iterated warnings for travellers to drive to conditions and recognise signs of fatigue.
An NT police spokesperson told this website that grey nomads needed to be aware of their own abilities and experience.
“It is a very long bit of highway and has hundreds of kilometres between fuel stops and towns,” he said. “Break it up into manageable chunks … get lots of rest and drive to conditions.”
