A body has been in a burnt-out caravan at a camping ground in south-western Victoria.
The Warrnambool Standard newspaper reports that campers at Glenaire near Apollo Bay called emergency after they noticed the van on fire.
After Country Fire Authority units extinguished the blaze, human remains were found in the rear of the van.
The caravan was still attached to a vehicle.
Victoria Police spokeswoman Creina O’Grady said an arson chemist would attend the scene but police were not treating the fire as suspicious.
Police are yet to formally identify the body.
