Published: November 24, 2019

A caravan ‘jackknifed’ on the Bruce Highway yesterday afternoon causing major disruption to traffic … but no serious injuries were reported.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the accident happened near Mt Ossa, and a section of the highway was temporarily closed due to the amount of debris on the road.

A Queensland Ambulance Service said the occupants of the car towing the caravan had been able to remove themselves from the vehicle.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
