Three people are being treated by ambulance officers after a 4WD towing a caravan was involved in a collision with another vehicle just outside Rockhampton in Queensland.
The caravan rolled in the incident there are concerns that two gas bottles that became loose inside the caravan may have been damaged. Gas examiners are rushing to the scene.
Details of the injuries are not yet known, but the Rockhampton Morning Bulletin says reports indicate one driver is suffering from shock.
Initial reports indicate a 4WD was trying to overtake another vehicle when the crash occurred on the Bruce Highway just outside the True Blue Motor Inn near the Heritage Village.
The road was initially blocked completely northbound and partially southbound, with traffic controllers in place. Emergency crews are working to remove both vehicles off the road.
