A couple have escaped serious injury after the caravan they were towing jack-knifed on the Bruce Highway, north of Brisbane.
The Sunshine Coast Daily reports that a truck towing a car and caravan rolled down a hill before coming to a halt outside of Freedom Fuels, between the Parklands and Yandina exits.
The caravan rolled into a ditch and the truck was left lying on its side on the median strip.
Paramedics assessed the pair at the crash scene, but they are believed to have been uninjured.
This morning’s drama caused traffic chaos before tow trucks arrived to clear the scene.
The exact circumstances of the accident are yet to be established.

Tug was a duel cab, driver is said to have 10yrs exp with large vans and has done towing courses,and van had all the good gear for towing.so will they make public thier findings as to the cause.clean up crew said they clean too many in this area, so was it speed, over loaded, no weight in tug or too much would be good to know fortunately no one hurt.
Caravan jack knifed they must have hard to cause that or brake bias incorrectly set on tug to catavan.
