They’re always different, they’re always interesting, and they’re hugely under-represented on the websites and the Facebook pages of the world. Grey nomads … boab tree lovers … it’s time to end this injustice.
If you’ve got a snap of a Adansonia gregorii (you know what it is!), then we want you to post it on our Facebook page.
We want little ones, big ones, swollen ones, prison ones, split ones, tilting ones, and even dead ones. We want lonely boab trees, we want collections of boab trees, we want boabs being cuddled, being stood next to … and pretty much everything apart from being chopped down!
We want leafless boabs, flowering boabs and we especially want bulbous boabs. We want boabs from the Kimberley, from the Territory and, if you really want to, even from Africa and the Arabian peninsula. We just ask that you or a member of your family snapped the photo and that you tell us briefly about where, when and why you took the shot.
