We need housesitters for the period 7 May to 8 June 2026 to look after our property while we are away. Our property is 56 acres 15 kms northwest of Rockhampton. We have 12 cattle, 5 chooks and one dog (8 year old Jack Russell). We also have an extensive garden which needs watering. There is plenty of room for a caravan and parking for a car. We have a fully furnished granny flat which can be used. There is also a shed where a caravan could be parked if the use of the granny flat is preferred. Or the caravan can be parked next to the granny flat so both caravan and flat can be used. We are about 15 minutes from Rockhampton and shopping centres. There is a family member living in Rockhampton if any issues should arise. There are two dams and water troughs around the property for use by the cattle. The water troughs would need to be checked occasionally, once a week. At this stage the cattle don’t need feeding. There is a bitumen road right to the property and also on the property to the house. There is also a pergola, barbecue and fire ring area for relaxing.
