BUNDABERG REGION
I’m a mature aged woman who’s done lots of travelling living in many and varied parts of Australia including living on remote properties in the outback working as a School of the Air Educator.
Please Note:
After being on the road for so long, I now have a job working 3 days per week in Bundaberg, so if it could be a long term situation that would be even better!!
I’m hoping to grow vegetables and flowers if possible.
I’ve been doing house/farm sitting since February 2022 with plenty of reviews and references available.
During my farm sits I was given the unexpected opportunity of looking after 3 horses for 3 weeks, when I had absolutely no experience or knowledge on how to care for them.
With the help of a new friend and the owner, who trusted I could do the job, I ended up I having my first HORSEsit looking after them.
So here I am now able to be in the paddock with them, rugging them, hand feeding them carrots and just getting up close and personal loving it so much.
Other animals have been dogs, cats, cattle, chickens, guinea fowl and geese!
I have a love of gardening and I’ve rented/lived in many garden flats and I’ve always had my own garden/vege patch or been invited to be part of the owners personal garden. I’ve designed and created many an owners garden, even a rain forest garden at one place which I believe has now grown into a beautiful space for them to enjoy.
At present I’m studying a Diploma in School Aged Education and Care so when not at work I will be home with your pets and garden when taking a break from the books.
I do have my sewing machine with me if there’s a space for that too if at all possible and also an avid photographer.
