We are looking for someone who’d love to farmsit our Miniature Pony property for approximately 10 weeks from 21st May to perhaps first week in August. Someone with knowlegable horse experience is a must.
We are located on the Surf Coast, Great Ocean Rd region on 21 acres. 10 minutes to Bells Beach & stunning coastal walks including parts of the Great Otway National Park. There are loads of outdoor activities, wineries & restaurants close by.
Its a 15-minute drive into Torquay which has all services available, 10 minutes to Anglesea, a quieter little seaside town & 45 minutes to gorgeous Lorne. Its a 25-minute drive to Waurn Ponds or 40 minutes into Geelong Central for larger shopping centres.
Our ponies are friendly, and are balls of fluff in winter. At present, there are nine of them. However, some may be rehomed between now and when we go away.
Duties include twice daily bucket feeds for 2 or 3 ponies, plus biscuits of hay once a day for the others. Also, topping up the water troughs daily & general observational care of their well-being.
Power, water & bathroom facilities are available on a large flat area of grass.
