Free Long-Term Van Site on the River near the Coast – In Exchange for Fishing Buddy & House/Dog Sitting
Looking for a reliable, easygoing single or couple with their own self-contained van or caravan who are seeking a secure, long-term base.
What’s on offer:
A free, quiet, and secure site on our property (power and water provided).
A great long-term arrangement—no moving every few days or paying high park rates.
Access to regular offshore fishing trips to the reef!
What we’re looking for in return:
Fishing Companion: Come along on about 4 to 6 reef trips a year (typically 5-day runs). No hard deckhand labor required—we fish using electric reels, so it’s easygoing. Just need good company and someone who enjoys being out on the water.
Property & Dog Sitting: Mind the property and keep our dog happy and looked after when we occasionally travel away.
Ideal Applicant: Must be clean, respectful, financially independent, and genuine dog lovers. You must have proven sea legs and be comfortable spending 5 days at sea on a well-equipped boat.
We’d start with an initial 4-week trial stay and a day trip on the water to make sure we’re a great fit for each other before locking in a long-term setup.
