House/pet sitter required late August – early October (exact dates upon enquiry). Seeking reliable, experienced, police-checked persons with references to look after our home and animals.
Our home is located in the Goulburn Valley (North-Central VIC). In under 2 hours you can be on the Murray River, in the snowfields, wine regions or even Melbourne CBD. We are located on 4 acres with beautiful bush views from the patio and only a short 5min drive to the shops.
Ideally we would like someone with a van who is looking for a rural/lifestyle property with plenty of space to pull up. Will have access to power, water, laundry, bathroom and kitchen. Our 5 year old open plan home has a woodburning heater with endless supply of fuel as well as the usual mod-cons found in newer homes. Includes access to inground pool and large outdoor firepit area. Services include tank water, septic system and bottled gas.
Despite having young children, we like to keep our house clean and tidy and would expect the same when we return. Yard work would be absolutely minimal and a ride-on mower is available IF the mood strikes.
Pet-sitting duties would include keeping 2 indoor senior cats fed and in good company (both in good health). There are also chickens that love a run in the sun each day, as well as very low maintenance turtle and blue tongue lizard needing a weekly feed.
