Christmas House Sit – Enjoy Summer by the Beach in Adelaide! 9 December 2026 – 9 January 2027
Fancy spending Christmas and New Year near Adelaide’s beautiful beaches, with the comforts of a home and three lovely pets to keep you company?
We’re looking for a reliable, animal-loving house sitter or couple to enjoy a four-week stay in our home in Osborne, close to Semaphore’s beaches, cafés and coastal attractions. Our original sitter has unfortunately had to cancel.
We have two much-loved dogs, both 13 years old (a gentle Maremma cross and a small Schnoodle), and a nine-year-old cat who is quite independent. Our dogs are enjoying their senior years and are happiest with a short daily walk, a relaxed routine and plenty of companionship.
What we’re offering:
Enjoy a comfortable home as your own base for the summer holidays, with no accommodation costs, in exchange for caring for our pets and keeping an eye on the house.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for travelling couples or Grey Nomads wanting to explore Adelaide, visit family over Christmas or simply enjoy a relaxing coastal summer without the expense of holiday accommodation.
There’s also plenty of room on our driveway to park your caravan, making it ideal for travellers wanting to take a break from life on the road.
We’ve welcomed house sitters before and have always found it a mutually rewarding arrangement.
We’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys animals and will be around to keep our older dogs company, while still having time to enjoy the area.
References and previous house-sitting experience would be appreciated.
