We have a small farm between Donnybrook and Boyup Brook and looking for someone to help care for our farm stay property and animals when we are off farm. This may be a longer term arrangement for the right person if you have your own fully self contained accommodation ie caravan/motorhome. Short Term welcome also with own accommodation.
*Checking water and wellbeing of approx 40 cattle and 100 sheep daily. (UPDATE plus 15 calves. Bottle feed 1 x poddy calf)
*Water and feed for a dozen chooks that like to roam around the house. Lock them up at night and let them out in the morning. Collect eggs daily.
*Water lawns and gardens, veges and pot plants
*Blow down verandah and walk ways around the accommodation and farm houseas required (chooks like to poop and scratch in the gardens)
*There are about 20 geese and 18 Guinea fowl that free-range around the property that don’t require any particular care
*Occasional care for our 15 year old MalteseXPoodle. She is deaf and usually sleeps all day if she knows someone is around.
*Enjoy bush walks from the back boundary
*Enjoy the local attractions and swimming holes
Boyup Brook is approx 20 mins, Collie approx 30mins, Donnybrook approx 45min and Ferguson valley approx 40min
